Oh My Lordd.

I totally haven't updated in a while. I kinda feel bad. ahah. Oh, well! Christmas was pretty epic. I got some Harajuku Girls perfume from Gwen Stefani, a modcloth giftcard (Yay!!!), some jewelry, neon tights, a scarf, a giant crayon (my friend Tyler got it for me), anddd...... A CAMERA!!! AHH!! I have been taking pictures nonstop since I got it. It's pretty epic. Soo, instead of telling you what I've been up to these last few days (pretty much hanging out with friends), I am now going to spam you with camera pictures. :D

Thinking, Cooking, Presents, Movies

Sorry I didn't update yesterday~ not that anyone really reads this or anything~ but I feel bad for not updating anyway. Yesterday I was out running around a lot, buying last-minute Christmas presents, cooking, and visiting with my grandma's friends. She had two friends over that she hadn't seen for six months or so; we went over to this little cafe in town called the Skillet and that was really good. I had a veggie pasta thing, which sounds really weird and gross but it was really good. I got all my Christmas shopping done! I don't want to say what I got on here, because my family might read this even if they don't have an actual account on here. Soo, I will post on Christmas what everyone got and stuff.

I am so excited for Christmas this year! I bought something for everyone in my family, altough as soon as I bought my mom's gift we waalked out of the store and it fell face-up into the slush. But that was easily fixed, and I think she will love it!

My boyfriend keeps telling me that he got me somethng and I will never guess what it is. Now I am really curious, and my friends will meet up sometime over break and exchange presents hopefully! I am super excited. (:

Well. I watched the movie Julie and Julia today, that was pretty good except I didn't like the ending. I thought it was amusing that she had a blogspot though. And I loooove the look of the 1940's. I really think that I should have been born in the early '40's. Those clothes~ high-waisted, poufy skirts and such~ are the kinds of things that I looove wearing. My dream job at the moment is to own my own boutique, with random things, and vintage clothing. That would be awesome.

Well, it's late and I am rambling. I doubt this post made much sense at all. Sooo, I am going to drag myself away from the computer and read for a bit before I go to bed. Goodnight and I love you all. <3

Weddings, Wedding, Weddings

Mike and Kirsten's wedding was beautiful!

They held it at this really old, really small church that was built in the 1800's in Iowa. I thought that was pretty neat, it almost reminded me of Tom Sawyer, although I couldn't really tell you why. Haha!

I saw all of my cousins today and they didn't really tease me all that much, so that was a good thing. All the bridesmaids were so pretty, Kirsten looked gorgeous, and mike acted very nonchalant about the whole thing, until he got up on the altar and then he looked sooo nervous. It made me giggle.

When we got in the church my cousin Ryan, who was an usher/the best man, took my arm and gave me a seat. Kirsten's side was filled up and almost out of seats, while mike's side (my side) was barely filled. My cousin Dustin texted me right before the mass started and said, "Our side must be the cool side." I almost laughed out loud just as the first bridesmaid came out, but luckily I didn't.

The reception was good, but I was really cold the entire time. They had it at this one center for someone or another, and the ceilings were very obnoxiously lit with all different color Christmas lights, although it was kinda cool to look at.

My cousins and I just talked a lot and Dustin teased Mike. I left as soon as they started dancing, though.

Now, I'm in Iowa at my Grandma's house until the day before Christmas, and we are all going to head back home for Christmas!

I Wanna Hold Your Hand...

Today, I learned how to drive in the snow.

It was interesting, not too bad because all of the roads were salted pretty well and stuff, though. I hope I get my driver's license soon- that would make going places so much easier. I need a job first, so I can pay for insurance.

So far my winter break has been pretty boring. I didn't have a speech tournament today, though, so that was a relief. Boring is good, it gives me a chance to relax, since my life is normally so hectic.

Tomorrow, I am altar serving in the morning, and as soon as we are done with that my family is heading up to Iowa for my cousin's wedding! I'm super excited, although my cousins give me a hard time every time I see them. Especially when Mike (the one who is getting married) is around. I remember one time, I was really upset at them for making fun of me somehow, and Mike's fiance just said, "I don't know why he teases you so much; you're his favorite cousin."

Buys confuse me.

Anyway, I'm gonna go. Soo, yeah.

You're the One That I Want; Ooh, Ooh, Ooh...

Sooo, I was looking through my pictures today, and I found this one of when my mom, brothers and I went to Florida last spring break.

I WAAAANT.

Winter is cool and all, but there is STILL no snow and Christmas is only seven days away!!!! I might as well be somewhere warm for the winter ):

Anyways. So michelle's friend Trevor told me about this site, called swagbucks.com, and you pretty much just search stuff and it randomly gives you points, and with enough points you can get stuff like xboxes and gift cards. It's pretty fun stuff. So you should visit it, and sign up so I can get more points you can win stuff! (: The link is here:

Search & Win

Soo, other than that my day was uneventful. Family drama, waking up late, I hope this is not going to be my whole winter vacation. Ohwell. What can you do :/

Stomp Stomp Tap Step Tap Tap Tap.

Yes, this is how cool I am.

We had a meeting for information on our school play yesterday, and found out that our play is Thoroughly Modern Millie. The director, Peggy, told us that all the leads need to know at least basic tap dancing skills. Since I am definitely NOT skilled in this way, I decided that I should learn basic tapping over winter break, so that when auditions come on January 12th, I will have at least a better shot at getting something other than chorus. Yay for me!!

Soo, I got out my character shoes and asked my friend Maggie, who has been tapping for seven years, to help me. She is coming over sometime during break. For now, I will be looking up youtube videos and googling it! :D

In other news, I went over to Michelle's again today, put up christmas decorations, and crammed five girls into a bed so that we could watch Journey to the Center of the Earth or whatever it's called. We only saw half but it was good, from what I could tell. Very fake-looking though. Grrawr. Then we watched NCIS and pigged out on those tiny little cookies that you buy in a box and just stick into the oven, and they are already shaped and everything. And they have christmas trees or ghosts or other holiday-themed stuff on them. I love those cookies almost more than homemade cookies. Is that bad to say? O_o

Anyways. I should probably get back to failing learning how to tap dance. :D

Finally, I got my photography pictures back...

And most of them are all blurry-like! Sad face. ):

So last Thursday, our school's photography club went to our local cathedral to walk around and take pictures of things. I was all extited and stuff... until I got to school and realized that not only was my camera still at home, but the battery on it was dead. So, I was all ready to just support my friends and take some pictures on my phone, until my best friend Michelle's brother Trevor decided to be all nice and let me use his camera. (Not that long ago he acted like he hated me. I do not trust this whole "Nice" act...)

Anyway, So I got there all excited, and started snapping away. Trevor's camera has some wicked good zoom, but it takes pictures really fast, so I guess it is prone to blurriness. But still!!! ):

Here are some of the better pictures that came out (I haven't edited any of them yet, maybe once I do that, I will like them better.)

Two Down, Four to Go!

Today we had our first final exam tests. They weren't too hard, which was good, but I figured out today that in order to get a C on my Chemistry final grade, I have to ace the Final.

Uhhhhh. :/

So I brought my Chemistry book home and am reading it while listening to The Saltwater Room, writing this blog and talking on facebook. I am a good multitasker!

There's really not a lot I can say today, since I really didn't do anything. I got home about 2 and a half hours early, yayyy! :D We have Friday off, but I have to get up at four in the morning on Saturday at Speech. D: We are going about an hour away, and my goal this week is to make first in the Novice section, if we aren't mixed in with varsity members! Then on Sunday... my cousin and his Fiance are getting married! THis will be the first time I will get to see my cousin since my grandpa's funeral at the very beginning of September. Hopefully this will be a better event... I think it will, I really like his fiance :)

Well, I am off to procrastinate and talk to people study my chemistry. O:)

Oh, and for all of you who have, like, ten feet of snow right now, I hate you. >_< We have NOTHING! Rawr.

xoxo, Kaitlin<3

Crayons Can Melt on Us For All I Care.

Soo, I decided that I wanted to make a blog. Why? Because finals are this week, winter break is coming up, it is almost the end of the year and I have a lot I want to say that can't be said in one facebook or twitter update. Blogs are fun, and I am bored with facebook.

My name is Kaitlin, I'm sixteen, I listen to anything except screamo and hardcore country music. I like to sing and act, I wish I was a dancer, I am full of contradictions. I like to talk, a lot, and I'm not really motivated to do well in school although I am in enriched courses. I can't wait to get my driver's license but driving alone terrifies me, quite frankly.

Some good TV shows are: Gossip Girl, Glee, NCIS, America's Next Top Model and Make it or Break it. (:

I am on the speech team, my event is HDA for those of you who are interested, I like to take pictures although I'm not too good at it, and my favorite class is my English class.

If anyone is still reading this, then high five! you rock.

I promise my posts after this will be MUCH more interesting. I am a pretty cool person. (:
