Mike and Kirsten's wedding was beautiful! They held it at this really old, really small church that was built in the 1800's in Iowa. I thought that was pretty neat, it almost reminded me of Tom Sawyer, although I couldn't really tell you why. Haha!
I saw all of my cousins today and they didn't really tease me all that much, so that was a good thing. All the bridesmaids were so pretty, Kirsten looked gorgeous, and mike acted very nonchalant about the whole thing, until he got up on the altar and then he looked sooo nervous. It made me giggle.
When we got in the church my cousin Ryan, who was an usher/the best man, took my arm and gave me a seat. Kirsten's side was filled up and almost out of seats, while mike's side (my side) was barely filled. My cousin Dustin texted me right before the mass started and said, "Our side must be the cool side." I almost laughed out loud just as the first bridesmaid came out, but luckily I didn't.
The reception was good, but I was really cold the entire time. They had it at this one center for someone or another, and the ceilings were very obnoxiously lit with all different color Christmas lights, although it was kinda cool to look at.
My cousins and I just talked a lot and Dustin teased Mike. I left as soon as they started dancing, though.
Now, I'm in Iowa at my Grandma's house until the day before Christmas, and we are all going to head back home for Christmas!
